The cover for Shadows Wake is over at Robyn LaRue (posted yesterday) if you are interested in taking a peek. Today I posted two trailers for feedback as I’m getting a pretty balanced preference. I’m so glad I have Kirsten and Michelle to hold my hand because, as the launch day approaches, I get increasingly anxious that I’ve done all the technical things right.
Sometimes the best-laid plans go awry. People drop off your team. Others are busy. Final readers don’t get the job done. And sometimes amazing things happen, like finding the perfect cover artist.
For those who have published, what are your memories of the last days leading up to launch? For those who will publish, what are you most looking forward to?
Your book cover is GORGEOUS, Robyn. Congratulations. As or the two book trailers, I like the first one (the one on top) best. I can’t really say why other than I thought the transition from scene to scene was more seamless. That’s my free advice. Good luck!
Your feedback is very much appreciated. 🙂 Helps me figure out which to use for launch day. I had the cover made into a poster today and it’s stunning in 24 x 36 inches. (so excited!).
How cool to see your book cover in a BIG size. Really, both book trailers were terrific, so you can’t lose.
