I have to remind myself of this on so many different occasions – that I don’t have to spell out every last little detail. In fact, leaving it slightly “unfinished” can add more depth than any words could. Thanks for sharing Robyn!
I’ve had readers complain about open endings before. They said that it wasn’t even a complete story because I apparently didn’t follow every character to their deaths; I’m not really certain what they wanted. Ah well. I like my open endings, and I think the majority of my readers do, too.
